1. Wow! Taken a back at first gleaning like I was viscerally recollecting at seeing my first pieces of Bacon’s and de Kooning’s in ’74 in a Aesthetics class with Prof. Walter Merrill — also a PHL abstract -expressionist painter—. That just took a few seconds tho, and my mind, eyes and sensibilities plunged into the layered brush stroke, spat, pointillist tech of the beauty and terror of yr revel Agonistes!
